Envoyez-nous vos photosThe former Morrison Quarry has not been in operation since 1967. Since then, it has been enjoyed by local divers. It is possible to go scuba diving or access it with local diving schools. The quarry is located on private land, so it is essential to be courteous with the owners of the place. The water has good visibility, between 20 and 60 feet, and reaches a maximum depth of 128 feet. Although the site is not very lively in terms of fauna and flora, several "wrecks" have been installed for the pleasure of divers. This includes a plane, two cars, a submarine and more. ABITA-1, Quebec’s first operating underwater cockpit, is also located there.
Visit Plonge ici! for more information and to discover the directory of diving sites of Québec Subaquatique.
